Petrol and Diesel

Enviro-Tab was first developed with these vehicles in mind. Extensive testing has been done on a wide range of standard motor vehicles.

One study conducted by the New Zealand Department of Conservation (DOC, a government department) tested 38 vehicles – both petrol and diesel – on their fuel savings and emissions reductions.

Over the trial period, they achieved an average fuel savings of 14.6%, and an average emissions reduction of 30%. They then took it upon themselves to promote a roll out of Enviro-Tab into other government branches throughout NZ.

Taupo District Council also conducted an emissions reduction trial on 8 petrol and 8 diesel vehicles over 3 months. They found a reduction in emissions of 31% when measuring the diesel “K” value, and a reduction of 32% in petrol hydrocarbon emissions.

” I used Enviro-Tab on all of my vehicles, even my two-stroke mower and my boat! The results are amazing – not only do we get a cost-effective fuel saving but on all engines we get:
– An increase in torque 0, especially our diesel.
– A smoother and quieter running engine.
– On two-strokes, no blue smoke or two-stroke smell, and easier to start.
– A decrease in particulate from the exhaust.”

“In our 2008 petrol Toyota Corolla, we found a fuel saving of 10%. In our 2002 diesel Toyota HiAce, we found a saving of 10-12%, and in our 1993 petrol Mazda 626 Capella we found savings between 12-15%”

“I have been testing Enviro-Tab for about 1 year now, my role is ECU tuning for the Mazda community, and i own for myself a Mazda speed 3.
For the price you pay and the gains you get I honestly can’t see why you wouldn’t, It’s safe and does exactly what it says it does. For me as a tuner, I mainly use them as knock suppressors and/or octane boosters, and i wouldn’t recommend anything else but this!”

Marine Use

Enviro-Tab can be used in everything from outboard motors, to marine diesel storage tanks.

Enviro-Tab has been proven to be useful out on the water, in vehicles ranging from boats to jet-skis.

One Auckland boat contractor found the following results:

“I had a vassal that was smoky on startup. I also noticed that after a few hours, I would start to taste the fumes in the back of my throat, which, after a few days’ fishing, would be pretty unpleasant. I added the tablets to the full fuel tank, waiting 10 minutes before startup. Upon starting, the anginas smoked for a few seconds – however nowhere as bad as usual.

***Then,* as the Enviro-Tab started to go through *the fuel system, the smoke disappeared.***

Busses and coaches

Enviro-Tab has had proven success with owners of commercial busses and coaches, improving fuel efficiency and engine response when used.

Blair Withers of Withers Coachlines, Taranaki, NZ said the following:

“I am an engineer who now operates the family transportation business. Initially I was skeptical about the figures being promoted by Enviro-Tab. However, keen to save fuel and reduce our emissions, we had a great opportunity to trial a coach that completed a daily service run for eight weeks.

**Of the 4 drivers of the Hino coach, none were told about the trial except that it was to reduce emissions (we wanted the drivers to just drive as normal).**

During the eight weeks the following was achieved: 1; The coach is now using 9-12% less fuel, and 2; Every driver commented on how much better the coach was doing.

After this trial we have since trialed another Volvo B12 coach, which is now achieving 11.9% fuel reduction. Also, this coach is visually not emitting as much smoke.

We are very pleased with using Enviro-Tab and would recommend this product to anyone.”

Motorhome/RV

Enviro-Tab has also been widely used within the motorhome community. The positive effects on these vehicles have created a strong following through word of mouth.

Keith Urlich found the following benefits while using Enviro-Tab in his motorhome.

“The motorhome is a 2008 235 HP 6 speed Hino, which before using Enviro-Tab was doing 3.1 km/litre, and although the very first fill showed little difference in economy + performance, I now achieve 3.5kmllitre regularly.”

This works out to be a 12.9% increase in fuel efficiency!

Large Trucks

Enviro-Tab is very effective with freight trucks, showing the impressive versatility of our product.

Shane’s Mack Truck experienced the following results when run on Enviro-Tab.

***Average fuel consumption for* this Mack truck *was 1.90 kms per litre.***

***In March, Shane started using Enviro-Tab in his fuel. By using* the trip computer, efficiency was then measured at 2.66km/L and 2.84km/L for the next 2 months that it was *checked.***

After 4 months of Enviro-Tab use, we asked if the Mack truck could be taken off of the product. The mileage went back down to 1.91km/L – showing that Enviro-Tab was responsible for the previous increase in fuel efficiency.

By using Enviro-Tab, Shane’s truck’s fuel efficiency increased by over 35%.

Diesel Bug Treatment

Diesel Bug is the contamination of diesel fuel by fungi or bacteria. This occurs when water contaminates stored fuel; often a result of condensation within a storage tank. Contaminated fuel is tainted with microbial sludge that blocks fuel filters, injectors, pumps, and can damage the engine.

Fuel companies agree that if left untreated, fuel will remain reliable for Just 6-12 months. After which, fuel contamination begins to appear. Most Industrial engine manufacturers now recommend a fuel conditioning programme to ensure the reliability of fuel.

Envlro-Tab has been proven to be very effective In treating diesel bug, and as an Inhibitor to prevent it from forming.

AutoKraft, a Palmerston North NZ automotive specialist has been using Envlro-Tab to treat diesel bug In their clients’ trucks.

We had one client operating a Volvo FH16 truck that spent almost $5000 on workshop time, filters, fuel lines, and tank flushes. The diesel bug organism was persistent and continued to return. We were advised that the tablet could kill the organism and prevent it from returning.

***A dose of the 400-litre tank* a *couple of times fixed the problem. The dead bug matter still gets caught by the filtration but stops growing.***

***We used this experience to treat much larger quantities of fuel; in one* case, 13,000 litres in a *bulk tank for forestry machines was treated with absolute success.***

It overcomes the problem of using Biocides and other non-organic toxic products to deal with an annual problem with diesel storage.·

Challenge accepted!

What if I only used one engine?

That would mean splitting a V6 or V8 engine, so I first tried it in a trailer mounted V6 Commodore with 2 fuel tanks and two exhaust systems.

Wow! It worked!

Now, what sort of vehicle could I use? A sedan won’t work with two fuel tanks under the passengers seat, so that just leaves a ute.

After 1 packet of Enviro-tab, the treated side has gained 20 psi compressions!
